I wanted to pay a tribute to Gene Hackman and most of his films are very familiar, so I dipped into his television career from the 1960s. This was a cult TV show from the 1960s and a typical Quinn Martin production, including the narration, the fleet of Ford vehicles and the music. It’s a good episode with lots of familiar faces.

It’s an episode of The Invaders called “The Spores” with Gene Hackman! He’s not in the screen shot. I think it’s James Gammon on the left, definitely Judee Morton in the middle, and Kevin Coughlin on the right, I recognize the eyes.

I can’t claim to be a genius on this one: I knew this looked really familiar and was absolutely sure it was an MST3K episode, only to finally figure out after an hour of searching that I was just recognizing Judee Morton who was in The Slime People, a season one MST3K. But I have seen a clip of Gene Hackman beating these nogoodniks up in the episode!
