I thought it was time to do a short subject and as we just had a presidential biography, I thought I would do another one, this time on Andrew Jackson. Old Hickory received excellent reviews and has high production values. It’s aired three times on TCM, most recently a year ago.
For Monday, we have a mysterious fellow. His mysterious companion, Back of the Head Guy, has been cropped out due to insufficient mysteriousness and will appear later in the week.

I’m pretty sure I’m off target because this film is a short and is further back in time than I thought on Monday. However it is a technicolor film, so here goes. Is it, “Old Hickory” 1939?
I recognize Thursday’s guy as John Hamilton of the Adventures of Superman”. I also thought that Tuesday’s guy looked like a young Abraham Lincoln and Frank Wilcox plays Captain Abraham Lincoln in this film.
