This week’s mystery movie has been the 1935 Fox film “Black Sheep,” starring Edmund Lowe and Claire Trevor (Friday’s mystery guests), Tom Brown (Wednesday’s mystery guest), Eugene Pallette (not shown), Adrienne Ames (Monday’s mystery guest), Herbert Mundin (Thursday’s mystery guest) and Ford Sterling (not shown). It was directed by Allan Dwan from a screenplay by Allen Rivkin based on a story by Dwan. Music by Oscar Levant!
I recorded “Black Sheep” several years ago from cable and I’m not sure it is generally available.
And for Monday, we have a mystery woman in your standard mirror shot. (Adrienne Ames).
And for Tuesday, we have a mystery singer. (Dick Webster).
Please congratulate Don Danard for identifying Monday’s mystery woman.
And for Wednesday, we have a mystery gent. (Tom Brown).
And for Thursday, we have a mysterious tipsy guest who lurches from scene to scene in our mystery film. (Herbert Mundin).
Please congratulate Mary Mallory for identifying Wednesday’s mystery gent. Fear not. All will become clear by Friday.
And for Friday, we have the mystery stars of our mystery drama. (Claire Trevor and Edmund Lowe).
Please congratulate Mary Mallory (mystery movie and mystery guests), Anne Papineau (Thursday’s tipsy mystery guest), Don Danard (Thursday’s tipsy mystery guest), McDee (Thursday’s tipsy mystery guest), Lee Ann, Megan and Thom (Thursday’s tipsy mystery guest) and Chrisbo (Thursday’s tipsy mystery guest).

I believe the Friday mystery guests are Claire Trevor and Edmund Lowe? Possibly in Black Sheep (’35)? That one has been on my to-see list for some time!
