Arriving to the City of Angels in ’63, about the only thing I knew about Dick Lane was that he was a odd, little man hawking various goods with the catch phrase, “Whoa Nelly!”. Had no idea what the phrase connected to or that he had a long career in film.
Now, I recognize his face from films I’d seen. He has become a three dimensional performer with an intriguing history. Much appreciate the opportunity to see a bit more behind the curtain.
