Click on the thumbnail for the entire story … Below, meat prices are going up by 3 cents to 21 cents a pound (22 cents to $1.53 USD 2007) … The U.S. will apparently increase military spending to fight unemployment–watch for more orders for B-52 bombers! … Vice President Nixon calls for a tax cut as a cure for the recession rather than increased government spending … And a bill is introduced in the Legislature to require a college prep curriculum. Under the proposal, every high school student would be required to take at least a year of science, math and English.
