    Of note:
    “Aqueduct Phone Line
At the request of Chairman Anderson of the Los Angeles Board of Public Works, the Supervisors, yesterday directed that an ordinance be prepared, granting to the city the right to construct and operate a telephone line from Del Sur to the Elizabeth Lake[illegible], to be used in the connection with the building of the aqueduct.”
A long distance phone line for William Mulholland to ride herd and bark orders to the field supervisors building the Los Angeles Aqueduct.
