This is “Princesse Tam Tam”  with Josephine Baker. You can also find it online, although there are no subtitles. And thanks to glcrumpacker for the suggestion.

If you would like to request a mystery movie, drop me a line.

Last week, I opened the request line for mystery movies. I received several interesting responses, including this one from glcrumpacker:

Here is our homme de mystère pour Lundi.

Monday’s mystery fellow has a mystery ami and here he is.

Please congratulate Mike Hawks for identifying our mystery chap. Benito has identified our mystery film and cast, but he has good reason to recognize them in light of the individual who requested it. (Ahem).

And for Jeudi….

Please congratulate Mike Hawks for identifying our mystery movie and cast.

And fear not, tomorrow will be our leading lady, whom everyone will recognize.

And for Friday, our (not) mysterious leading lady.

Please congratulate Mike Hawks for identifying Thursday’s mystery woman.

  15. My research using Google Images brought up a really strange juxtaposition of Friday’s star, Josephine Baker, and modern Bikini models. My guess: Princess Tam Tam, 1935.

That’s what I get for canceling TCM. Just when I think it’s 80% repeats it airs something I don’t have. (It does seem like 80% repeats, though, I must say).
