    Myrna Loy and William Demarest?

  2. Don Danard says:

The lady is Jacqueline Wells aka Julie Bishop and the man is David Manners.

  3. Don Danard says:

Part two! I think the film is ‘The Black Cat’ with Boris Karloff. And I think I read somewhere that Wells was once billed as Diane Duval.

  4. Bob Hansen says:

The man is David Manners and I think the woman is Josephine Hutchinson. The film might be The Black Cat from 1934

  5. Richard Heft says:

  17. Dan Nather says:

The gentleman is David Manners, and I’m guessing that the lady is Julie Bishop, the film being THE BLACK CAT (1934).

  18. Eve says:

Well, he is the ever so yummy David Manners, I believe.

  19. Patricia Ann says:

    Betty Field ?

  20. Gregory Moore says:

Elissa Landi and David Manners in “The Great Flirtation”.

  21. James Curtis says:

Gee, even I can get this one. It’s Jacqueline Wells and David Manners in THE BLACK CAT.

  22. Rick Scott says:

Actually Bishop was billed as Jacqueline Wells

  23. Mary Mallory says:

Julie Bishop/Jacqueline Wells and David Manners in THE BLACK CAT.

  24. Don Danard says:

Tuesday’s Mystery Person is, as he was once called in a book title, “Dear Boris”.

  25. juliemerholz says:

The Black Cat with…so far…Julie Bishop, David Manners, Boris Karloff….and I’m sure Bela Lugosi
    and Egon Brecher..will show up.

  26. Rick Scott says:

    Today is Boris Karloff

  27. Patrick says:

Tuesday = the ominous Boris Karloff as Hjalmar Poelzig.

  28. ValleDave says:

Monday: David Manners and Julie Bishop, Tuesday: Boris Karloff….in “The Black Cat.”

  29. Dan Nather says:

Tuesday’s shadow has got to be Karloff . . .

  30. Don Danard says:

Gotta be Bela Lugosi today, Wednesday.

  31. Lorenzo says:

Monday’s mystery lady reminds me of Jean Arthur.

  32. Rick Scott says:

    What’s Boris without Bela (Lugosi)?

  33. Sarah says:

It’s the Black Cat! I knew Monday’s mystery person was David Manners, but I wasn’t sure which film it was until today. Great choice!

  47. Dan Nather says:

Thursday’s gents are Henry Armetta and Albert Conti!

  48. gary martin says:

Henry Armetta on Thursday and Boris Karlof seen from the back on Tuesday suggest to me that this must be The Black Cat, 1934, the others being David Manners, Julie Bishoop, and Bela Lugosi. I think I last saw this in 1953.

  49. Gary Martin says:

My guess of The Black Cat seems to have disappeared. Henrry Armetta, Boris from the back, Bela in profile, and David Manners with Julie Bishop…. I’ll hit the button real hard this time.
