Japanese Evacuation: Images of Executive Order 9066

  1. I was almost 9 years old when this happened. Our Japanese gardeners went away. The sweet lady at the Japanese nursery, and all her family, went away and the nursery closed. I think that was perhaps the beginning of my loathing for the awful power of Big Government.
