Movieland Mystery Photo [Update]

Dec. 13, 2011, Mystery Photo

Gosh, a mystery photo in color? Yes, thanks to Steven Bibb! And no, I can’t think of any Native Americans who actually dress like this, except for Hollywood Indians.

[Update: This is Lisa Gaye. Please congratulate CandyC, Don Danard and Gary Martin for identifying her! ]

In the 1950’s Universal had a number of lookalike starlettes who came up with tony curtis and rock hudson. I believe this is Susan Cabot in a still from Tomahawk, 1954. But it could just as well be Lisa Gaye in any other western Universal film.

Lisa, you might recall, was the sister of Debra Paget, Fox starlette/indian maiden.
