Am I so old that Jeanne Crain can be offered as a mystery guest? Or is this not Jeanne Crain …Mala Powers? Now I’m confused. Old, and confused.

If I saw these four photos, and not in context with this blog, I would say these are four different people!

What a tragic, tragic story.
If I were a writer (pointed look at Eve), I’d so pick her for a subject. Not just because of the circumstances of her death, but her life in general. Orphanages, and all those rumors about her romance with King Hussein of Jordan, who allegedly dumped her when he found out she was plain ole Harriet Shapiro – and Jewish to boot. He was also rumored to be the father of her son, Timothy (but I don’t think the time line matches up); whack job Christopher Jones claims to be the father of late. I also think there’s mystery as to whatever happened to Timothy – some believe he’s dead, and other say no.
Just a sad, odd story no matter what way you slice it.
