Movieland Mystery Photo

Los Angeles Times file photo

Here’s our weekend mystery guest with a mystery firearm.

I like to keep things more informal on the weekends and feature mystery guests who only have a few photos  in the archives – not enough for an entire week.  I’ll post comments as they come in rather than waiting until the end.

This week’s mystery guest was  Patricia Morison!

There’s a new photo on the jump!

  1. The weekly Hollywood Mystery Photo infrastructure is not working. It is supposed to withhold right answer until the mystery is revealed, and publish only incorrect answers. For the second week in a row, correct responses were posted before the end of the week. The first week I did not send in my correct response, assuming it was wrong. This week I was sure it was Patricia Morison, so I sent it in, only to find my correct response, along with scores of other correct responses , published prematurely.
By the way, I love the contest, which has made me aware of many previously unknown beauties from the past.
