Raymond Chandler, Double Indemnity

I can't claim this discovery but it's a good one. Evidently Raymond Chandler made a brief and unknown — until now — cameo appearance in "Double Indemnity." This was simultaneously discovered by John Billheimer and Olivier Eyquem.

    Yes, it was known about before. An Amazon review back in 2008 mentions this cameo:

    And I was told Chandler had a cameo in the film back in the 1990s, I rented the film in about 1993 on VHS and tried to pause it to find him, but had no luck. Which probably makes me sound like a crazy person, but so be it.
