| OK, who are they?
Of course, it’s Mickey Rooney on the left. His boxing partner is Art Aragon, as guessed by Kip Brown (who thought it might have been Mickey Knox), Howard Decker, Michael Ryerson and Lee Rivas. Information on the back of the photo says this is a scene from "Military Policemen" (also known as "Off Limits"). The date is difficult to read, but appears to be Jan. 29, 1953. Nice guessing, folks! |

In the top photo, that’s Mickey Rooney on the left. I can’t make out the other man’s face clearly enough to make a guess.
As for the second mystery photo, and this is a long shot, is it Carole Lombard?

Mickey Rooney squares off with boxer John Indistrano who played Rocky Devlin in “Killer McCoy” (1947). In this remake of The Crowd Roars (1932),a fixture of the L.A. boxing scene for many years, P.A. announcer, Jimmy Lennon Sr. makes a cameo appearance.
FYI: My good buddy, Mickey Knox, who is still hale and hearty, had a terrific part in this film as the erstwhile champ that Mickey sends to an early grave.
