Below, a prowler who cures his nausea by being a peeping Tom is arrested near the scene of the Marjorie Hipperson killing …  He is later cleared in that murder but is arrested on a couple of old traffic warrants, never to appear in The Times again … Arizona State College students riot in the state Capitol over plans to change the school’s name to Tempe University … Will Nixon go to the Soviet Union?

    Noticed the piece about “Prince” Michael Romanoff. I seem to recall reading in more than one reference that the gentleman was actually born in Brooklyn and created the Russian persona – played the role for the rest of his life.
    Can you confirm this?
    Thanks again for taking me back to the L.A. of my childhood – so much is gone forever & I’ll always miss it.
