From a different era in political cartooning by The Times’ Bruce Russell, who won a Pulitzer Prize in 1946.  He joined the staff in 1934 and his works appeared in the paper until his death in 1963. He was replaced by Paul Conrad.

Notice that all the veterans are Christians. Ouch.
