Note that the artist working in 1957 envisioned parking for 24,000 cars. Actual number of parking spaces in 2007? 16,000. Do you think this might cause problems?

    It isn’t the 16,000 parking spaces or the 24,000 parking spaces that’s the problem, it’s those five access roads into the parking lot. All those people and all those cars enter and exit at the same time through those five very restricted access routes. Where were the traffic engineers of 1957?
    Didn’t anybody do an objective study of the traffic impact of a major league baseball stadium in the middle of a residential area with access restricted to five roads?
    The L.A. Times was definitely for bringing the Dodgers to Los Angeles. The boosterism is obvious.
