The renaissance of downtown Los Angeles has brought us fancy bars, expensive lofts, pricey restaurants and sidewalks full of hipsters with dogs. Don’t get me wrong, I like dogs, I have owned dogs. But they don’t belong in eating establishments. Grand Central Market has posted signs against bringing in dogs, but the Starbucks at 6th Street and Spring is oblivious. Complaints are shrugged off with the explanation that baristas aren’t allowed to ask about service dogs. Does this look like a service dog to you?

That said, I’d notify the Health Department.

Well, now there’s a legal loophole that you can have your dog classified as a service dog to help you with PTSD, anxiety, etc. So a lot of people are exploiting that. It’s an insult to those truly affected. The entitled generation wins again.

Hipsters should be outlawed and banned from the face of the Earth. Not only will it solve this problem, but it will benefit both humanity and these dogs who are doomed to being euthanized a month from now, when hipsters abandon them in favor of whatever new fad they’ll claim as their own.
