Just about everybody recognized one or both of our mystery guests (although Herb Nicholas threw me a curve by using the birth name of the chap on the left – went right past me). Please congratulate Dan Nather for identifying our main mystery chap… Our mystery lady remains an enigma.

The individual on the right is Henry Armetta who played a stereotyped Italian type in many films in the 1930s. He was especially funny in the Laurel & Hardy film “Fra Diavolo”…

This is adding up to verify my first assumption: the Italian fellow is Henry Armetta with John Garfield in Dust be my Destiny and in the last foto he is with Bobby Breen in Let’s Sing Again.
If I were not so lazy I would find out who the mystery lady is …Gladys George? I always recall Henry in the great bed department episode of the Marx Bros. in The Big Store.
