   She was so cute, and excellent in LONESOME, THE SHAKEDOWN, and with Harold Lloyd.

   By general concensus of those I’ve spoken to “in the know,” Barbara Kent was THE very last, top-billed “adult” silent film star to have been surviving (until now–and not including child stars). Thus, this signals a major event in the annals of silent film history. Or am I missing someone? I think she was the last of the breed…..
