The Stimson house via Google map’s street view.
A postcard showing the Stimson house, 2421 S. Figueroa, has been listed on EBay. Bidding starts at $2.99.
The home was built by developer Thomas Douglas “T.D.” Stimson in 1892 for $150,000 [$3,592,687.16 USD 2010]. The home was attacked in 1896 by “dynamite fiends,” but the bomb did no damage, The Times said. Stimson died in 1898 at the age of 70.

If somebody had torn that house down they should have been horse whipped and run out of town. Big thanks to whoever saved it through the years…
