[Update: This is the filming of "Mohammad: Messenger of God." The photo is stamped Dec. 17, 1979, but it's unclear if it was ever published. ] Today, we have four mystery cameras! |

Here’s mystery camera No. 1… … mystery camera No. 2 on a truck … … mystery cameras Nos. 3 and 4! … mystery talent…. … and more mystery talent. |

Three cameras are big, wide screen instruments. The fourth is sixteen millimeter, which suggests that its presence is there for a ‘the making of…’ documentary.
It is possible that the picture is ‘Lawrence of Arabia’, though I doubt a doc was made of it.

I’ll guess it is Khartoum, one of last films released in single film Cinerama, which I saw at the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood. It could be director Basil Dearden behind cameras 3 and 4.

Whatever it is, crew’s hair length and clothing would seem to rule out anything shot in early-mid Sixties

The hairstyle and clothing leads me to believe it’s the 70’s.

Heaven’s Gate? Looks like the late ’70s – early ’80s.
