Round ole El Lay former Mayor Norris Poulson was really Huey “Kingfish” Long (according to one City Councilmember anyway)? Well. I woulda paid more attention to the downtown interests’ “front man” Poulson if I hadda known. I though he was just kind of a doorstop for the big money boys. But then, when Poulson was mayor I was still dusting off the turnip truck debris left over from my travel from the Midwest to TinselTown.
