    The only recently late Charles Lane was one of those unsung heroes of film, the working character actor. His career kept going well into the Twenty-first Century. His face in a film always suggested attention to detail and great casting.
    Few people knew his name, but millions recognized his face.
    I suspect he lived a very happy life.
