"Chicago's interest in its White Sox of 1919 practically ended today when they went down to defeat for the second consecutive time without a run in the fifth game of the World Series by a score of 5 to 0, putting their opponents within one game of the big pennant."

The suspended White Sox players, Felsch, Cicotte, Williams, Jackson, Gandil, Weaver and Risberg, were on hand when the case was called.
