Lunch With Larry and Keith, June 13

Keith and I thought it would be fun to get together with Daily Mirror readers for lunch at Philippe at noon on June 13. We can chat about mystery photos, Chavez Ravine, Mamie Van Doren, Gail Russell and anything else that interests you. See you there!

    June 13, huh? I’ll sure try to make it, Lord willing and the creek don’t rise. Trust Larry to have us meet at a former bagnio. Seriously, it’s a neat, historic El Lay joint and the food is great. Shades of Raymond Chandler. Maybe I’ll bring my authentic Mickey Cohen business card.

    I just went there when my nephew graduated from USC (I really like saying that)! And we took the DASH bus from the Biltmore to get there. Sounds like fun. I’d like to go. I have so many questions.

    This coming Saturday? At Noon? With the anticipated crowd, how will we know each other? Red/Blue bandannas? Subtle black Dahlias? Gray hair? Receding hair? Toga!! Toga!! Toga!! Hope to see you all there.

    OHHH I so miss Philippe’s!
    My mother started taking me there when I was barely 5, so that’d be 1953… If you see an apparition in a red ‘Heidi’ dress that’d be me ;;}

    If I was there I would ask you to run more entertainment listings. I love the old movie and TV ads!
