March 4, 1959: Lou Costello Dies!Comedian Lou Costello dies at Doctor’s Hospital in Beverly Hills after
collapsing the week before while watching television. He was 52. His partner, Bud Abbott, died in 1974.

    I wonder why Lou Costello and his family were living at 4222 Ethel Street in Sherman Oaks, at the time of his death. That’s a apartment building, that I’m familiar with, near Ventura Blvd.
