   Christine’s handwriting seems a little different and it does not slant like it did in previous letters. Perhaps she was left handed and wrote that way, but this letter lacks the slanted handwriting.
   She sure refers to Nethercott contemptiously, but refers to Mrs. Nethercott in a less contentious manner.
   In all of her letters trying to get Walter’s release, I thought she was “sucking up” to the Warden, etc. But she continued that tone in this letter. Perhaps people were more gracious in those times or perhaps she was just a gracious lady.
   One has to wonder whether the letter sent by the LAPD recoomending that Walter not be paroled played a critical part in the decision not to release Walter. The LAPD certainly had an ax to grind with Christine. Had they not responded in the manner that they did, perhaps Walter would have been released and would have survived.
   I hope that you are able to post the court records of her suit against the LAPD officer who had her incarcerated at the insane asylum.
