    The Spanish Civil War. 1936 to 1939. Didn’t end until virtually the start of World War 2 in Europe. The opening act to the bigger conflict. Didn’t take very long after the “War to end all Wars” for war to begin again in Europe. So much for Versailles and the League of Nations.
    The last Christmas before WW 2. Six Christmas would pass before the world would see anything resembling peace again.
