  1. About 10 years ago, I was on the Blue Line train going to Long Beach, when a group of people in our car starting reading poems from Bukowski, and well as from other poets. It fitted in well with the gritty neighbourhoods that we were passing through. An apt reflection of Bukowski’s writings.
