assassination attempt.   

Below, Dodger Joe Pignatano’s two-run homer sinks the Reds, making the Dodgers tied with the Cardinals for seventh place.

    America is still dealing with the consequences of its meddling in the Middle East. How much meddling is evident as early as fifty years ago.
    We somehow believe we impose ourselves into sovereign nations, foment rebellion, create puppets, sell deadly hardware to multiple combatants, then wonder why we have so many problems decades later.
    Have we learned from history yet?
