   Interesting you have something from the ’30s…could you also print how the Times covered the freak Los Angeles snowfall of Jan. 15, 1932?

   “Hollenbeck Heights”?
   Today that would be in Boyle Heights. Harry Raymond’s house is still very much standing although I doubt the garage is. What is there now has to be a replacement.
   The Frank Shaw “reform” government must have been something. Not to mention the LAPD of the 1930’s.
   –Shaw was recalled later that year, losing to Judge Fletcher Bowron on Sept. 16, 1938. It was the beginning of a new era in Los Angeles.
