Thank goodness for one of my favorite movies, which while NOT your mystery movie this week, was very helpful in helping me to ID Thursday’s folks: 1938’s “The Lady Vanishes”. Thursday’s mystery gents (Basil Radford and Naunton Wayne) have several of the great moments in that film.

I’m now working on what this week’s mystery movie is (they appeared in a LOT of films together.)

Now I’m thinking the movie is indeed The Lady Vanishes 1938. So changing my earlier guess that TLV is not the movie, but that TLV is the film and that I only need to work on the cast for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

NIGHT TRAIN TO MUNICH. Monday originally looked like William Faulkner but it’s Ian Fleming. John Wengraf and Allan Jeayes Tuesday, Frederick Valk yesterday, and Basil Radford and Naunton Wayne today.

Ha! Guess number 3 (all in one day!)

I was right the first time – the movie is NOT The Lady Vanishes.

The movie is Night Train to Munich 1940
    Monday’s guy is Ian Fleming
Still on the hunt for the cast for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Right about the Thursday cast, though, Mr. Radford and Mr. Wayne (delightful in the Lady Vanishes.)
