This week’s mystery movie was the 1934 Vitaphone short “Movie Memories,” one of many films to use that title. The film is a compilation of silent clips accompanied by a rather maudlin narration about deceased movie stars. It is not available on DVD.
I’m doing something a bit different this week. These are images from a Vitaphone short that were compiled from earlier clips. We begin with a mystery guest and his trusty friend. Note: He has 140 films to his credit.

For Tuesday, we have a second mystery cowpoke. Again, this is a Vitaphone short that was compiled from earlier movie clips. He has 113 films to his credit.
Update: This is Art Acord. His grave is located in Forest Lawn Memorial-Park, Glendale, Calif.

For Wednesday, we have ….. I think you have the wrong disc in the DVD player. He only has 80 movies to his credit.
