The woman on the right is Elisabeth Short. Not the one on the left which is one of Hodel’s whozits

I’m guessing that only woman #2 is Elizabeth Short.

I STILL think they’re BOTH Elizabeth. I’m looking at their noses. A woman will pluck her eyebrows, dye her hair, change lipsticks and even shave her hairline….but why would two strangers have identical NOSES?

Woman number 2 is Beth Short. Woman number 1 is supposedly one of Dr. Hodel´s friends and not the Black Dahlia. Similar, but structures of their facial structures are different. Wrong lips, wrong forehead, wrong eyebrows, etc. I always wonder how many thousands of photos Hodel Jr. had to rummage through to find faces who approximated Beth Short´s features.

I still say the chin is the giveaway.

  8. Woman #2 is Elizabeth Short. I don’t know who woman #1 is but her chin, jawline, hairline, and brow-line are different than Ms. Short’s while her lips are fuller and nose looks a bit wider to me. George Hodel Jr. has been saying that the unknown lady in this photo and in your previous post are Elizabeth Short but I don’t think that they are. I don’t actually think Jane Doe #1 and Jane Doe #2 are the same lady. Also, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that both of the Does have their eyes closed in the photographs because Ms. Short has very distinct light colored [probably blue] eyes. I know this is going to sound unflattering, yet I can’t help but wonder if photos of Jane Does #1 and #2 with their eyes open were present in Dr. Hodel’s personal effects and those photos were removed from the collection.

#2 is Short; nothing matches on #1: eyebrows, neck, mouth, nose, eyes. Too small nose, too much bridge between nose and brows, too small of a neck, mouth all wrong, eyes wrong size, face wrong shape, etc.
