both now move to part of house where talk is unintelligible — both return and Hodel suggests they sit in his car and talk — to which party agrees!!!

Hodel still typing — (monotonous, isn’t it?) Even the guys doing surveillance are bored!!!

Hodel and girl talking — girl said she “would be afraid to live alone.” Hodel said he would “protect her to the best of his ability.” Girl said that she “would get over being afraid, O.K.”

Humph. No “Evil Genius” points today.

Woman leaves — man enters — talks with Hodel about moral of Spanish girls!!!!!
