And for Wednesday, some mystery fellows.

Please congratulate Mike Hawks for identifying them and the movie and Mary Mallory for identifying the mystery chap on the left.

And here’s a mystery fellow for Thursday.

Jan. 11, 2013, Mystery Photo

Here’s our (totally not) mystery person for Friday.

Just about everybody has identified Thursday’s mystery fellow.

Dewey Webb has identified all the mystery people and the movie. Mary Mallory also identified the movie, as did Gregory Moore, who identified Monday’s enigmatic fellow. Thursday’s mystery fellow was also identified by L.C., Mike Hawks, Gary Martin, Don Danard and Rick Scott (who also identified the movie). Grant Lockhart identified the movie and the mystery folks.

Benito says: My mistake, Thursday’s photo is actually XXXXXX. Those balding weasels all look alike.

An incredibly young Robert Cummings. Before he became too fey to play a leading man with authority. Though the quality served him well in comedy.

Rats…shoulda followed my initial hunch after recognizing the back of Joe Penner’s head….Mystery Gent, William Brady. Film: “New Faces of 1937”. He surely had to have been the handsomest of the “crooners” of that era…wonder why his career never really went anywhere?

If Wednesday’s mystery man is Parkyakarkus (Albert Brooks’ and “Super Dave” Osborne’s dad), the film is “New Faces of 1937.” Monday’s mystery man would be juvenile lead William Brady. But I still don’t know the lady.
