Our mystery chap in the newsboy cap was identified by Greg Clancey, Dewey Webb, Jenny M, Don Danard, Roget-L.A. and Patrick. Congratulations!

As most folks realized, this is “The Crimson Kimono,” which appears in the opening of “Los Angeles Plays Itself.” “Kimono” has many location shots of downtown Los Angeles, like this one of City Hall.
