These are the opening shots of “Silver Streak,” which was in the theaters for Christmas 1976 – for those of you who recall the Bicentennial year. Please congratulate Mary Mallory, Bartstar and Dewey Webb for identifying it.
It has to be from the front of Union Station, looking SW, although redevelopment and redesign have changed things significantly since the 1970s when this was shot. http://g.co/maps/v58ch
