  1. Mary Mallory says:

    While the City Sleeps?

  2. Don Danard says:

First I thought it might be Heroes for Sale or perhaps Wild Boys of the Road but it’s neither as I checked the film credits of each, so it’s a blank so far.

  3. Barbara Klein says:

    Dead End

  4. Mary Mallory says:

Looks like Pasadena City Hall behind him.

  5. Rogét-L.A. says:

This is just a hunch, but is it “My Man Godfrey” (1936)?

  6. Gary Martin says:

    City Across the River.1949.

  7. Patricia Ann says:

The newsboy bears a strong resemblance to Jim Carrey.

  8. deweywebb says:

    Looks like Johnny Ray.

    Third shot, Allen Jenks.

  9. juliemerholz says:

    Allen Jenkins and ?

  10. Mary Mallory says:

    Allen Jenkins on the left.

  11. Jenny M says:

    Allen Jenkins with ???

  12. Mary Mallory says:

With Henry O’Neill in THE BIG SHAKEDOWN.

  13. Mike Hawks says:

Well at least I know who Allen Jenkins is at left.

  14. Don Danard says:

Today’s Mystery Duo ….fella looking off to the right is Allen Jenkins.
And I can’t think of the older man’s name at the moment.

  15. Claire Lockhart says:

Allen Jenkins and Oscar O’Shea in RACKET BUSTERS (1938)

  16. Don Danard says:

Got it! The older gentleman with Jenkins is Oscar O’Shea and the film is “Racket Busters”.

  17. Benito says:

Wednesday’s photo, left side, shows Allen Jenkins with that Pee Wee Herman sized bow tie.

  18. deweywebb says:

I meant “Allen Jenkins.” Got him mixed up with Frank Jenks. Or Jinx the Cat (of Pixie & Dixie fame). Or. . .

  19. Rick Scott says:

    Wednesday…Allen Jenkins on left.

  20. Mary Mallory says:

Walter Abel and Henry O’Neill in RACKET BUSTERS.

  21. ValleDave says:

Allen Jenkins and Walter Abel in “Racket Busters?”

  22. Don Danard says:

Today’s Mystery Shot – William Gould, Walter Abel, Oscar O’Shea.

  23. deweywebb says:

    Walter Abel?

  24. Jenny M says:

    Walter Abel in Racket Busters

  25. Mike Hawks says:

Our man friday is Walter Abel, making this RACKET BUSTERS 1938.

  26. juliemerholz says:

    Racket Busters

  27. juliemerholz says:

    Walter Abel

  28. Patrick says:

Allen Jenkins, Oscar O’Shea (who was also in a film called King of the Newsboys, but I don’t what kind of hat he wore), a line-up of the usual suspects and Walter Abel in Racket Busters from 1938.

  29. Wednesday’s new cap guy, maybe Allen Jenkins. Thursday’s pair looks to be a DA and and cop, definitely Walter Abel and perhaps Oscar O’Shea, all of which would fit 1938’s Racket Busters.

  30. William says:

    Racket Busters, 1938…..Bogart, Allen Jenkins

  31. deweywebb says:

    Racket Busters
