Our mystery gal has a mystery companion!
They had face paint so thick in those days that the Grand Canyon could be hidden beneath and we still might not know who they were.
I have a hunch that he is Rex O”Malley and as he made so few films in this time frame I suppose she is Betty Balfour.
The film would be Somebody’s Darling.
Pert Kelton
Is it a very early Edward Everette Horton?
Edward Everette Horton and….?
Looks like Stan Laurel
Okay, then, Harry and Olive Carrey.
Peg Entwistle? It must be a stage photograph, because I’ve never heard of this photographer before. What is his full name? I have to learn more about him.
So who are they. . .?
My hunch today is that she is Mary Astor. Now he is TBD.
Virginia Cherrill?
The man in the most recent photo is Leon Errol but I still don’t recognize the lady.
Right! You’re first
Leon Errol
Right, you’re second!
Evelyn Laye
Congratulations! You’re first.
The first photo is Evelyn Laye and Bartlett Simmons in “Bitter Sweet.”
Leon Errol with Evelyn Laye from ONE HEAVENLY NIGHT.
You got the movie! Congrats!
That’s Leon Errol now, working on her.
Evelyn Laye.
You’re third! Congrats.
The last photo’s mystery companion is Leon Errol. Keeping with the Broadway theme…is the lady Marilyn Miller?
Leon, but not Marilyn.
In photograph number four he is Leon Errol and so I will assume that she is Marilyn Miller and that the film is Sunny(?).
It’s Leon, but not Marilyn.
