Today is Robert Duvall.
That stadium scene is from the beginning when the NY Knights were terrible and no one was in the seats. So that makes it War Memorial Stadium in Buffalo, NY.
My guess on stadium is War Memorial Stadium, Buffalo. Im late (if even correct) on the movie, The Natural, Paul Sullivan, Jr., Robt duvall, Joe Don Baker.
