Coming Monday on the L.A. Daily Mirror: Eve Golden has a roundup of interesting obituaries in Queen of the Dead and Mary Mallory writes about the 1932 MGM film “Letty Lynton,” which can’t be screened – legally – until 2025.

Fairly familiar with pre-code Warners & Fox. Less so for Paramount, and almost nothing of MGM. Should be particularly interesting in that Thalberg would have been Production Head. His tastes were higher and deeper than Mayer’s. Though Mayer may have been perfect for post-code, family fare.
